Drag Wars

DRAG WARS at JAPFEST – once again on the straight track of Tor PoznaƄ! Here you will encounter both cars of our participants, who drive them on the streets “every day,” as well as projects built for competitions, specifically prepared for this type of racing. Some of them boast power well over 1000 horsepower! JAPFEST DRAG WARS is a competition in parallel races over a distance of 1/8 mile. The races are conducted by a professional team, using world-class measurement equipment and following the standards applicable at the largest parallel racing events across Europe! What sets Drag Wars apart from other events and competitions of this kind? Our goal, first and foremost, is to provide the opportunity to race without limits, as long as you have fuel, tires, and strength! Importantly, any qualified participant can take part! This allows everyone to test themselves and their car, regardless of the level of modification! At average events, a competitor waits several hours to be able to make maximum a few starts. During DRAG WARS, our team is ready to conduct measurements for 2 days non-stop, so that everyone can train, train, and train again! Every qualified participant of JAPFEST, whose car has passed the selection, can compete in DRAG WARS.

We anticipate 6 classes in which you can compete with other cars and vie for prizes from sponsors and DRAG WARS podium. For classification, we will consider the sum of ET+RT (elapsed time and reaction time).
